Meet the F3 Ambassador team. Or as we like to refer to them, Formbassadors. We are proud to have them #RideWithF3.
Sunny Gilbert
Profile
Sunny is a Professional Cyclocross Athlete. It was happenstance that drew her to CX. She started as a triathlete and had no intention of riding anywhere but the road. After being hit by a car twice, she looked for a sport where if she got hurt it would be because of her own lack of talent & skill. It was then when Sunny discovered cyclocross and a love affair was born. She didn’t start racing until age 29, but she sure made up for lost time with 2 USA Cycling National CX Championships and single speed World CX Championship. 10 UCI wins and over 20 podiums have earned Sunny a top 50 world ranking. She is also a proud holder of over 100 Strava Queens. Yes, consider that a challenge issued;)
How does cycling make your life better?
It gets me out of the house, into the world, and takes me places I would probably never go - the slow route on the backroads. Cycling also gives me a community of friends that simultaneously push me and keep me grounded.
Why do you like to ride with F3?
As I do more riding, and different kinds of riding, my handlebar and cockpit started to look like a Christmas Tree decorated with the ornaments of all the different adaptors for lights, cycling computer, camera, bar bag, etc. I was running out of places to put my hands (kidding, not kidding)! F3 has thoughtfully, lightly, and securely engineered mounts and combo mounts for all the accessories I need. My favorite: FormMount + the Light/Camera attachment, it takes up zero space on my bars. Brilliant. Oh, and I added a little Blue bling with a colored center band. It’s the small things that make a difference!

How does cycling make your life better?
Cycling has been in my life since I was born. It was always a dream for me to become a pro rider, and then I lived my dream for 14 years. I’ve seen places all over world and had the chance to meet a lot of nice people along my journey.
Why do you like to ride with F3?
I love the smooth look of the FormMount with nothing attached on my handlebar and with the holder for the GoPro at the bottom, I have everything I need in one small accessory.
Tim Strelecki
Profile
Tim’s introduction into cycling came through the world BMX. Like many kids growing up in the 80’s, this is where it was at. A place to ride with actual jumps and berms vs. curbs and lawns. He was hooked and quickly elevated through the local and regional ranks before hitting a road block: national competition. What separates the boys from the big boys. Raw talent, will and work ethic fueled Tim to become: 8X National Champion and 4X World Champion. Yup, that’s separation alright. Fast forward to today where his tally of wins at an elite Master’s level is over 50 and counting. Most recently, a 2021 USA Cycling National CX Championsip in hometown Chicago. Whether competing on the road, grass or single track you will likely find Tim on a podium.

How does cycling make your life better?
My life would be in shambles without cycling. I love being able to get on the bike, clear my head, and enjoy areas that I would never have dreamed of going.
Why do you like to ride with F3?
My favorite F3 product is FormMount. The super sleek, lightweight and aero design allows me to have full access to my GPS at all times on the bike.
Nico Deportago-Cabrera
Profile
Nico took the road less, possibly ever, traveled to become a professional cyclist. He began his journey as a bike messenger in Chicago, IL in 2008. What started as a casual flirtation with the downtown hustle turned into an intensive immersion in the messenger culture and lifestyle. Messenger work led to messenger races and those races became the foundation for an alternative approach to the traditional career as a professional cyclist. While his roots remain firmly planted in the streets that shaped him, Nico’s exploits in cycling span a diverse set of disciplines. Be it gravel grinders like Dirty Kanza, ultra endurance races like the Transcontinental, or inner-city alleycat races like Monstertrack NYC, Nico can be found fully stoked and at the front of the pack. The search for a unique experience in life is the driving force behind Nico’s cycling and is what keeps him relentlessly pedaling forward.
How does cycling make your life better?
Cycling changed the way I see and access the world around me. Before the bike came into my life I felt bound, but the bike brought me a freedom I didn’t even know existed.
Why do you like to ride with F3?
As a data nerd, I love to have access to all the metrics available to me at any given moment during my ride. F3 products allow me to have that access without ever getting in my way. Did I mention they are made in the U.S.A.?
Brian Harris
Profile
Brian’s profession is a sports nutritionist, cycling coach, athletic trainer and kinesiologist. He has accreditations, certifications and degrees too numerous to mention here, but you can check them out at: harristrainingsystems.com. He also practices what he preaches. In 1985, Brian transitioned from an expert motocross racer to a cat 1 mountain biker, and then a cat 1 on the road. He has won USA Cycling’s Illinois State Championship for both road race and time trial a combined 13 times and American Bicycling Racing’s cyclist of the year 7 times. Today he continues to race at an elite level on the road and in the woods. Prior to Brian’s career as a cyclist, he was a nationally ranked duathlete, competitive bodybuilder and downhill skier. Oh, and ran a 2:40 marathon. As an athlete, he’s a jack of all trades, and has pretty much mastered them all.
How does cycling make your life better?
It is my form of meditation. Getting on the bike, brings peace to my mind.

F3 products have helped me streamline my positions on multiple bikes for better aerodynamics.
Grant Berry
Profile
Grant is a former professional cyclist. He has spent the better part of his life honing the sport in Colorado and Oregon. After growing up in Chicago, Grant moved west in 2001 to fulfill his dream of living in the mountains of Durango to focus on off road riding. After making his way up the ranks on the mountain bike, he won the 2002 NORBA Semi-Pro National Championship. From there, he turned pro with 3D bikes and started a pro/cat 1 development road team. Cyclocross is where he would shine, chasing UCI points all over the country and paying it forward through coaching. Professional cycling is a short-lived career, so like many former pros, Grant turned his attention to racing Masters where he sure did become a master. First came a 3rd & 2nd, then a win at the 2009 USA Cycling National CX Championships in his hometown of Bend. Fast forward a few years to a health scare that led to the dreaded “forced break”, but fortunately it got sorted. New powerful perspectives were gleaned from the experience - riding was now a “get to” not a “have to”. Today, Grant is back to racing and not surprisingly, back to mastering.
How does cycling make your life better?
Cycling is a beautiful sport, and is one of my deepest passions. Somehow all at once cycling manages to be my favorite way to have fun, is a solid competitive outlet, stress blow-off valve, as well the best way to get me out and exploring new places. Bikes are beautiful and I am grateful for every ride I get.
Why do you like to ride with F3?
One of my favorite things about the sport is seemingly small things that can lead to big changes. For me, this is F3. I love the way the brand seizes opportunities to get creative by looking at the finest details, and innovating.
Michael Bissette
Profile
Michael opted not to pursue cycling as a career, yet still mixes it up with the pros on a regular basis racking up multiple wins as an amateur, a feat not many can claim. By the time he turned 30, he amassed over a dozen wins as a Cat 1 in USAC sanctioned events. Michael also has a passion for racing the tandem with his co-pilot Chester who is legally blind. They won gold in both the TT and road race at the Huntsville Paralympic Open to become the winningest team in the country. Together the duo have traveled the world building quite an impressive resume along the way. Michael can also be found regularly on the front of gravel races against the nation’s top ranked professional gravel cyclists. While the world was hunkered down inside in 2020, Michael was outside logging in 20,500 solo miles. 500 of those miles in 2 days across North Carolina raising over $5000 to fight food insecurity during the height of the pandemic.
How does cycling make your life better?
It gives me mental clarity, physical fitness, and spiritual fulfillment. Cycling embodies freedom and adventure, and for that reason I am not hesitant about being clear that cycling is a priority. I wish to bring the fundamental happiness that cycling adventures can offer to the people I love, ride with, work with, and influence.
Why do you like to ride with F3?
Objectively, the products F3 designs and manufactures are the best in the world from a technical standpoint. The simplicity and elegance of using features that exist on the front end of nearly all bicycle cockpits to mount GPS & phone devices is unprecedented.
David Lombardo
Profile
People who know David say he was born on 2-wheels. Noticeably gifted from a young age. He grew up racing cyclocross with his Dad, who was an elite Master’s racer. At the tender age of 15, he started getting results on the local level that garnered international attention in the form of the exclusive EuroCrossCamp where only 6 juniors from the states are invited. This is where David would grow and develop into an elite cyclist in multiple disciplines. He has been on both USA Cycling’s National Cyclocloss and Road teams and won the 2015 U23 National Road Championship. Later that year, David soloed to win Barry Roubaix and has 5 top tens at Cheqaumegon, 2 of the nation’s premier off road events. These days in addition to still racing on the national stage, David is paying it forward with Alumnis, a non-profit cycling organization aimed at making cycling a more accessible sport for juniors and college kids.
How does cycling make your life better?
Cycling is an escape for me. Simple as that. I’m able to get out and away from all the problems the world brings, and do my absolute best to get lost out in the mountains.
Why do you like to ride with F3?
Everyone knows the saying “look good, feel good”, and while I don’t feel good about saying it, I love to have a good looking bike. F3 puts my bike to the next level of sleekness and puts me in a place where I can have my brief period of overconfidence.
